In order to rest the soil and and take a break on the project budget, we utilized a coco-coir erosion protection fabric paired with cardboard to continue to suppress invasive plant re-growth, and topped the slope with branches woven into a matrix approximating contour, to regulate erosion and retain our woodchip mulch on the steep slope.
